Job Description

The role  

In this newly created role as a Systems Engineer, you will join Alpine playing a key role across enterprise systems, service operations, and our growing AI and automation capability. This role sits at the intersection of BAU operations and major technology initiatives. You’ll work closely with the Service Operations Team Lead and Innovation Lead, helping keep the lights on while also moving the business forward.

As our Systems Engineer in our Digital team, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing technical engineering support across enterprise systems and digital platforms
  • Supporting ERP and EAM initiatives, with a focus on integrations and interfaces
  • Working closely with the Service Operations Team Lead to support BAU and reduce operational load
  • Supporting incident resolution, change, service acceptance, and operational readiness
  • Working with the Innovation Lead to pilot, implement, and embed AI and automation solutions

What you’ll need

  • Strong experience in technical engineering and service operations environments (Usually 10+ years)
  • Hands‑on experience supporting enterprise systems, platforms, and integrations
  • Experience working across both BAU operations and project delivery
  • Solid understanding of ITIL practices and service management processes
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and a pragmatic, delivery‑focused mindset

Nice to haves

  • Experience supporting ERP and/or EAM systems
  • Cloud platform experience in a modern enterprise environment
  • Experience working in complex or regulated organisations
