The role

Join us in this newly created role as our Innovation Lead and shape the future of our business. You’ll define and drive our innovation strategy, championing a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement. You’ll work across the business and with external partners to deliver measurable value, ensuring Alpine remains at the forefront of innovation in the energy sector.

As our Innovation Lead, you will:

• Develop and execute Alpine’s innovation strategy and multi-year roadmap, with a strong focus on AI and digital transformation.
• Lead the delivery of high-impact AI and innovation projects, ensuring solutions are successfully integrated and deliver measurable benefits.
• Build and nurture a culture of innovation, encouraging experimentation, idea generation, and collaboration at all levels.
• Establish and manage strategic partnerships with industry peers, technology vendors, and research institutions to accelerate innovation.
• Advise our ELT on technology trends, opportunities, and risks, ensuring Alpine stays ahead of the curve.

What you’ll need
 

• Proven experience leading innovation or digital transformation initiatives. (Expected 5+ years)
• Hands-on experience implementing AI or data-driven solutions.
• Strong understanding of emerging technology trends and ability to translate them into business opportunities.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to haves

• Experience working with low-code/no-code platforms (e.g., Microsoft Power Platform) to enable rapid innovation and empower non-technical users.
• Experience in the energy or utilities sector.
• Participation in external innovation networks or industry groups.
