Job Description

The role    

In the newly created position of Delivery Performance Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in making Alpine’s works delivery operations more efficient, cost-effective, and future-ready. Your focus will be on continuous improvement across the lifecycle of works delivery projects, introducing meaningful metrics, and driving initiatives that enhance productivity and utilisation.

As our Delivery Performance Manager, you will be responsible for:  

  • Driving innovation, change, and improvements to systems, processes, and workflows to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness 
  • Developing and implementing performance metrics that drive efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Analysing delivery lifecycle data to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
  • Implementing clear processes within the support team, including developing KPI’s for delivery and mechanisms for efficiencies where possible, while proactively identifying and removing roadblocks to ensure timely and effective completion of work 
  • Providing leadership for the Works Delivery Support Officers, setting clear and consistent expectations for performance, supporting developments, motivating the team and enabling growth 

What you’ll need 

  • Proven experience in a similar role (Usually 5+ years) 
  • Demonstrated leadership experience including pulling a team together and developing a strong team culture  
  • Experience in process improvement and operational performance
  • Excellent workflow management and planning skills 

Nice to haves 

  • The proven ability to build relationships across a complex organisation 
  • High levels of commercial acumen with ability to identify and recommend areas for improvement 
  • A background in engineering, operations, or production environments
  • Proven ab ility to apply structured problem-solving approaches
