The role
We’re seeking a capable professional to step into a fixed-term position, helping to support the team and maintain momentum on key priorities. As the GIS Team Lead, you will play a crucial role within Alpine of maintaining and updating accurate spatial information and connectivity for Alpine’s network. Providing day to day management of the GIS Analyst workload ensuring KPIs and financial targets are met.
As our GIS Team Lead, you will be responsible for:
• Ensuring the timely and accurate update and maintenance of geospatial asset information and connectivity within our GIS models and system to reflect the as-built network.
• Administration and allocation of job pack and other workloads across the GIS team, ensuring work is completed within timelines set or variations understood and approved.
• Forecasting and communicating expected progress and completion timelines to affected parties in the value chain.
• Supporting this GIS Application Support Analysts with the identification and resolution of application, data and integration issues relating to the on-premises GIS and FME environments.
What you’ll need
• Experience in a similar role (Usually 3-5 years).
• Team management or leadership experience.
• Strong organisational skills with the understanding the impact delays can have.
Nice to haves
• Experience working within organisations with cross functional teams.
• Experience working in a business with many cross functional teams and projects.
• A relevant degree and/or certificates.
