The role
Due to an internal promotion, we have an exciting opportunity to join the Technology team at Alpine Energy. As the Head of Technology, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring Service Operations through IT service management processes and vendor management are operating efficiently and effectively with a focus on customer service outcomes
- Working with key stakeholders to measure and prioritise technical debt remediation and help control the annual Digital Services budget to ensure that it's consistent with the overall strategic objectives of Digital Services
- Supporting digital skills, learning and change management activities for digital change
- Overseeing the development, publishing and maintenance of AEL’s information architecture, as well as a roadmap for its future development, ensuring that it matches and supports business needs
- Providing knowledge about both internal and external business environments, and ensuring that information systems are maintained in a fully functional and secure mode and are compliant with legal, regulatory and contractual obligations
- Developing security strategy plans, roadmaps, governance framework, security policies, procedures and standards
- Negotiating and managing vendor contracts to cost, safety and performance standards
What you’ll need
- A strong track record of digital transformation success in previous roles, with a demonstrated ability to drive innovation and implement new technologies
- Proven experience managing large-scale IT operations and leading cross-functional teams
- In-depth knowledge of digital technologies and their potential applications in various industries
- Experience in developing and implementing digital strategies aligned with overall business objectives
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
Nice to haves
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure that they are completed on time and within budget
- Experience in leading digital transformation initiatives and implementing new technologies
- Experience in managing large teams and budgets.
