The role
In this recently refined role as our Senior Regulatory Accountant, you will take ownership of Alpine’s regulatory reporting and play a key role in shaping how we respond to economic regulation and pricing requirements.
This is a hands-on specialist role, focused on delivering high-quality regulatory disclosures, analysis, and advice that supports informed decision-making across the business. You will work closely with the Regulatory Manager, Executive team, and wider business to interpret regulatory requirements, provide insight, and ensure we meet our obligations with confidence.
You will build strong relationships across Alpine, working alongside teams to ensure regulatory requirements are well understood, practical, and embedded in how we operate.
As our Senior Regulatory Accountant, you will be responsible for:
- Leading the delivery of regulatory disclosures, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timeliness
- Developing and maintaining regulatory models to support pricing and financial analysis
- Providing clear, practical advice on regulatory requirements and their business impacts
- Supporting submissions to regulators and industry consultations
What you’ll need
- Strong experience in regulatory, financial reporting, or analytical roles within a complex environment (Usually 5+ years)
- A bachelor’s degree in economics, accounting, law, public policy, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
Nice to have
- Experience in the energy, utilities, or other regulated sectors
- Exposure to economic regulation, pricing, or policy environments
